Hello.
I started singing recently, I have a good ear and am trying my best. I am 15 now (male) and I wonder how my voice will change until the time when I grow up (already have a low voice) but my voice will probably change more.
I'm having some slight struggling. When I listen back to recording, it doesn't sound great but at some times it sounds like I have potential. I think I'll try to find a vocal coach and see where it goes. But how much of singing do you think can be taught? My main problems are probably singing with power (I loose air too fast) and controlling my voice (accurate pitch shifts) but singing on key is not to difficult for me.How will my singing voice change when I become an adult?
Hi! A vocal coach can work wonders. I had one. They teach you how to breath and hold your notes using your diaphragm. I highly recommend it, and staying with a vocal coach as your voice changes so they can accommodate the changes and work with them. Your voice will change but as long as you stick with your coach, your singing shouldn't go down hill or anything. Also, recordings always sound different to me when I play my singing back to myself-- I am told I need a better microphone... which I agree with.
