How do I change voice mail answering machine?

It's a verizon A650 PLZ HELP! I dont kno how to change it!How do I change voice mail answering machine?
(1) Call your voice mail (*86 SEND).

(2) Enter your PIN.

(3) Listen for the options and select the ';Change personal options'; (option ';4'; for me**).

(4) Select ';Record greeting'; option (option #2 for me**) then follow directions.



** I moved from LA to NY last year, and I changed my phone number from an LA area code to a NY area code. Among other things, I noticed that with the NY area code, the voice mail menu was slightly different from when I had the LA area code. So depending on what your area code is, the option # might be different.
