How to change voice while acting?

I recently started acting, but am not very pleased with my voice. I feel as if it might be holding me back a little. Is there any way of changing the tone of it?How to change voice while acting?
dont be afraid to let everthing out. just go all the way and get 100% in to your character and the voices will just come out. if not record your voices and then you wil no what you need in them in order to fix them. How to change voice while acting?

OMG!!!!!! I'm an actor to! I hade that same excact problem. I have a very high voice and it didnt fit the parts. What i did was think about the part i played and thought of what the voice would sound like. Then i practiced in front of a mirror. Also if it is a play, watch the move and record the voice of your character and keep plaing it! Hope this helped
breathe from ur stomach. it helps a lot
Embody your character. If you play a nerd, then your voice should go all nasally. Squinch up your nose, and you can but you don't have to-attempt to snort. Steve Urkel effect.
