How does Kurt Cobain change his voice in the Bleach album?

All the vocals in that album are so different than Nevermind and In Utero... Especially Negative Creep and Beeswax. How does he change his voice to get that weird half-growl half-scream thing?How does Kurt Cobain change his voice in the Bleach album?

Actually that was their first record so he changed his style for the follow records Never mind and In Uteri that's what common sense tells me not saying you dint have it =)



EDIT: Oh do you mean his technique? I dint know not sure.



Okay, i see well maybe he was trying to get more aggression out from his voice maybe he was trying to go for a more Punk style vocals and then later changed his mind to mellow it out a little for the following records
