If I yell and scream for 15 to 30 minutes I achieve the voice you are wanting. Just pretend like you are a Sargent in the military. If your lucky this may work for you.
This just isn't an Infectious Disease question. Anything you do to alter the pitch of your voice may adversely affect your vocal cords. The safest way is to see a vocal coach and perhaps there are ways to safely make some changes.
Just eat a lot of hot sauce or get kicked in the nads...always does it for me.

How can i change my voice to sing rock songs ?
i am a fan of 3dg and i sing their songs everyday at home. its not that i'm a bad singer cause im not. but the problem is that my voice sounds like jesse mccartney. im not sayin that hes a bad singer but i just want a rocking voice (which jesse mccartney doesnt have). i want to sing like 3dgHow can i change my voice to sing rock songs ?

well you could take male hormones and make your voice deaper! Not much you can really do. I hate my voice too, but you know that some people make a great living because they have a uniquie voice.....

I'm afraid that you are stuck with your voice for the most part. You could try speech therapy but your vocal cords contribute to alot of the sound. I have a husky voice as well, alot of men like it though.. it can sound sexy! Perhaps look at it differently and accept your sexy voice.

in order to hear your real voice you must stand in a corner and speak then you would hear how others hear your voice (not a tape or answering machine). i am sure you have a beautiful voice, don't be so hard on yourself. your friends like you for you are.
First off, I hope you don't smoke. If so, you might try quitting.
Do you sing? Can you sing higher than you speak? If so, then you just have gotten into the habit of using a lower portion of your range for speaking.
If you're really serious, what you really need is a voice coach. They could probably give you exercises and/or tips to help raise your range.

um take a deep breath before you speak and practice by yourslef try talking in a high squeky voice and working you way down. Mybe have a recorded just set some aside some alone time and experiment with the pitch of your vioce by mimicing cartoon characters, breathing, deep and stuff just try. Then if you find a voice you like practice it.

I'm afraid that you are stuck with your voice for the most part. You could try speech therapy but your vocal cords contribute to alot of the sound. I have a husky voice as well, alot of men like it though.. it can sound sexy! Perhaps look at it differently and accept your sexy voice.
yes you can but only a doctor can do that and that involves medication that you would have to take give your self some time to mature maybe your voice will get a little heavier within a few years but everyone doesnt progress the same you have to ask your doctor if he/she is willing to give you hormones to make your voice to your desire but that can be dangerous

in order to hear your real voice you must stand in a corner and speak then you would hear how others hear your voice (not a tape or answering machine). i am sure you have a beautiful voice, don't be so hard on yourself. your friends like you for you are.
First off, I hope you don't smoke. If so, you might try quitting.
Do you sing? Can you sing higher than you speak? If so, then you just have gotten into the habit of using a lower portion of your range for speaking.
If you're really serious, what you really need is a voice coach. They could probably give you exercises and/or tips to help raise your range.
no you can't change you voice but when you get oldder you will like it I think it will be fine.
um take a deep breath before you speak and practice by yourslef try talking in a high squeky voice and working you way down. Mybe have a recorded just set some aside some alone time and experiment with the pitch of your vioce by mimicing cartoon characters, breathing, deep and stuff just try. Then if you find a voice you like practice it.

It seems like their voice is very very deep.

I think you would be a lot better with accepting your voice, as opposed to trying to change. Who cares what others think of your voice? So you don't have a deep voice? What does that mean? It means nothing! You will be a lot happier the sooner you accept your voice!
In addition, you may simply be over estimating how unmasculine your voice is. And even if your voice is as unmasculine as humanly possible, that doesn't change who you are! Furthermore, if people are judging you because of your voice or for being gay, what does that mean? I like to think that it means you get a quick answer of what type of person they really are, and that you should be lucky you don't have to befriend them!

well, I'm pretty much 18, and the crummy thing is my voice hasn't changed yet, which sucks. everything else has changed on me, just not my voice and I'm getting annoyed by it, it's even affecting my schooling and job; school reading aloud, and work, answering the phone and dealing with customers. Taking testosterone in the form of a vitamin could help, but I would talk to your doctor before doing that. Other than that there's not much else you can do.

Heh man, I was in the same boat you were, up until about your age. And what do you mean it hasn't changed? Has it gotten deeper at all, or it's not as deep as you'd like? And the part about it cutting out...that means it's in process of changing. Don't worry, it will change sooner or later. I was kind of the opposite of you. My voice deepened when I was 15, but I didn't actually start shaving until I was 18ish heh.

That's how I feel now and I'm 15. I didn't think my voice changed at all but my parents and my friends told me my voice did. So maybe your voice has changed just not much or you imagine that you don't really have a deep manly voice and you end up hearing your voice high. I think you should ask someone like your parents or a friend who's known you for a while if your voice has gotton deeper.
Well whenever I scream really loud in band my voice gets all soar and breaks alot. After that for a while I cant sing high anymore without it cracking humiliatingly. I don't know my voice goes through long periods being deep and short periods being normal again but that usually is when I haven't yelled at the top of my lungs in a LONG while so I guess you can try screaming loud. OH and that's screaming loud like everyday so yeah.
I hope this helps........and if you voice doesn't change than I guess you have to learn to appreciate having a high voice. It's cool when a grown man can sing high. PEACE!

Keep repeating the exercise a half step lower every time, this makes your low notes stronger. Your probably not trying to sing but this could bring out your deeper voice.

i used to have a friend whos dad was a Drill Instructer in the Marine Corps and if you want to change your voice you could do what they do... yell at a tree all day and drink lemon juice. when u yell to the point you lose it then u drink pure lemon juice itll make it go real deep.

Never start at the highest note you want your range to be. It takes a long time, you have to work at it every day, and once you've reached where you want to be, if you don't continue to work it every day...you'll probably loose it.
With that being said, there is a stopping point. Depending on your genes and original range...there is only so far that you can stretch. But again, don't do it without the help of a vocal coach or teacher. this song goes high, and if you can't reach those high notes, reach within your range going higher and higher, it'll soon get clearer after practice, and soon enough you should have a pretty OK vocal range.
Tip: Try and sing a bit softer and aim for range first in a song, not tone or how clear your voice is. Hit the note first, then work around that.

You can extend your natural range through proper vocal technique, but you'll have to work at that with a vocal coach for a while before you will see results. Go for it and see what happens.
