Not all gay people have high pitched voices. There is no correlation between the two. It's just a body feature. There are a lot of straight people with girly voices and most gay people have lower voices. And gay people don't turn gay. It's just the way that they are. Think about it, why would someone choose to be something that could get them killed? And if it was a choice then they could easily change back. This isn't the case. What you are describing is the stereotype that the media portrays. The high pitched gay guy who loves fashion or the guy who dates girls and gets tired of them and decides to be gay. None of these examples are true.
I know there are many many reasons given why a person is gay. Born that way, molested when younger and needs approval of same sex, by choice. I am of the persuasion that we were born gay and I also believe that to some extent some fit in the other reasons I have listed. There are many who say they knew they were gay at an early age. I did, 5. I was always interested in guys. Girls were just there and even tho I with three sexually I was not happy until I found the guy that I love.
You don't turn gay. Sexual orientation is predetermined before birth. There is no choosing, deciding or turning involved. Different hormone levels in the womb produce different orientations. At least, that's the most realistic theory. As for what makes a persons voice change, that is called puberty. At that time there are a lot of hormones, which have certain affects on peoples bodies. One of these changes is the deepening of ones voice. It's natural, it's not something all gays escape or that if you ';turned'; gay your voice would be restored to a higher pitch. It doesn't work like that. Some people have more hormones going on than others and some just work harder to make their voices sound higher.
I have a bass 2 voice and I'm gay?...WTF?

The voice changes during puberty, along with the rest of the body......and this is not, by any means, limited to gay people.

Human sexual orientation is, according to the consensus of the vast majority of researchers in the field of human sexuality, innate. This means that it is pre-determined, though no definitive proof of causation has yet to be discovered.



Being innate does not mean, as so many so ignorantly assume, that any human, at the very moment of birth, desires sex. This argument is beyond naivet茅 in its juvenile assertion. To assume that any newborn infant instantly and consistently craves sex is ludicrous, at best.



Sexual orientation is innate and therefore pre-determined. Coming to the realization of sexual orientation is developmental, regardless of the defining characteristics of the orientation, itself. Realization of sexual orientation may occur, vaguely, in some of a person檚 earliest memory, but not clearly defined. With the hormonal changes which urge humans forward and sexualizes them, realization of sexual orientation becomes a part of self-identification and an indication of the orientation of the individual檚 human sexuality for the duration of their lives.



While this concrete realization may come as a result of puberty and the related sexualization becomes of import to the individual during this time, it is not a matter of having suddenly chosen an orientation but simply of growing into the innate orientation that was determined before birth.



Social pressures, for many, dictate that they disguise this fact in themselves, and many will go to extremes in accomplishing it, but it does not change the innate sexual orientation; it merely prolongs the social suffering of the individual and possibly others, as they are unwittingly pulled into the masquerade.



No attempt at altering an individual檚 innate sexual orientation can, or will, be successful. Even if brief encounters or short-lived relationships are managed, the innate which is part of our nature will eventually rule out over the fa莽ade. Desiring to alter another檚 sexual orientation for personal gratification, one opens one檚 self to emotional devastation, for this very fact.



Relationships between persons of opposing sexual orientations can never be more than a ruse, and the ruse, itself, can create devastating emotional effects in the lives of all involved. Homosexual men marrying heterosexual women in order to disguise themselves for the sake of conformity risk devastating not only their own lives, but the lives of spouse, children resulting from the pairing, as well as extended families. The innate will eventually command the individual, as duality is not maintainable over long periods of time.



Face facts as they are. Attempt to alter them for convenience, misplaced desire or for the sake of social conformity, and the lie will destroy you.
When are you boneheads going to realise we DO NOT choose to be gay,bi or straight.Did you choose to be who you are? No you did not! How do straight people turn straight? I've seen straight men act enfeminante.It blew me away when they told me they were straight.With a question like this one,ignoance should have been painful,then people like you would go out and get some help!

um only the gay ppl with high voices have high voices....there are plenty of gay ppl who look normal and talk normal u just dnt know theyre gay because they look like everyone else u retard
