Will my voice change after I get my tonsil removed?

I'm a 17 year old female, and i was wondering will my voice change after getting my tonsil removed. If it does? how? like sqeaky, deeper, ect.... ^^ for any1 who got their tonsil removed, i would like to hear your answers.Will my voice change after I get my tonsil removed?
my sister's voice didn't change at all after hers were removed. she has since then randomly had a choking reflex even when she wasn't eating. but i don't think that happens to everyone she also smokes which i think causes thatWill my voice change after I get my tonsil removed?
