Why does the pitch of our voice change when we are talking during different situations?

I noticed that my voice changes depending on who I am talking to. Why? How do we find out what the actual pitch of our voice is?Why does the pitch of our voice change when we are talking during different situations?
It depends on how you feel around the person, I think.



If you are confident around one person, your voice will probably be different then when you are not confident around the person. If your'e talking to someone your'e attracted to, and nervous to, you'll notice your voice becomes high pitched.
